Sewing samples for a local vendor who will be showing them to vendors in New York. Unrolling production pattern and cutting it is step #1. Then cut the fabric. Then sew. Her garments are awesome which makes this a fun project.

shortened coat
One of my return clients (who I still have never actually met!) left this coat in my drop box in a bag (hence the wrinkles) with note asking me to take 13" off. And a few days later - here is the result. It was lined with a vent in the back but I pulled it off.

fabric for event outfit
This fabric is for a client who has designed a costume she wants to wear to comi-con. This will be so perfect for her and fun to make. I sent her to website for a vendor I love who has great fabric. Check this out.

curtain alterations
8 sets of "black out" lined curtains, all shortened 6". Makes way more sense to have somebody (me!) alter ready made ones to fit window than pay to have custom ones made.

Dog crime
My neighbors dog is a criminal. I have repaired about 4 pillows he tried to destroy. Of course, right before Thanksgiving when they are hosting guests he took a chunk out of their couch. I did my best. Of course, he will be pardoned and someday he may reform. Meanwhile, I will keep repairing what he eats.

custom jacket under consturction
This has been a long process. We have had to modify some of the plans but I think now it will turn out better than ever. She is small and thin unlike the mannequin in the photo.
We are making a proto out of denim to see how it fits and what kind of interfacing it will need.
