Cushion recover

 My client brought me an old cushion with a cover she was tired of and a piece of blue fabric she had laying around. Voila!  A cool blue cover makes an old cushion look new.

why hem when you can cuff?

 Instead of a regular hem my client had me put cuffs on his new dress pants at his length.

 This is a dress I am making 2 of. One for me in the bright print and one for a friend in a more relaxed colorway.  I think it will be fun to wear in September so I will get them done - today.

Custom Shirt re-make

 My client has been wearing this shirt to shreds (almost) and wants more out of various fabric.  So, this trooper is about to be turned into a pattern and made in a variety of fabrics. Great way to get what you like in different versions.

Kate modified knock off done and out the door

 Well .... my client bought a super slinky and ravelly and stretchy to make a this dress.   It turned out really pretty and she will wear it as a bridesmaid.

My client needs a bridesmaid dress to match the ties the groomsmen are wearing. She found the fabric and the style dress. Now I will make that happen. I am starting with a commercial pattern similar and will modify that.

Easy off and easy on

Making 2 outfits for a friend who has to undergo some medical care. This is the first thing I made - easy on and easy off outfit but it looks super cute and not like it was made for somebody who needs it for that.

Flute holder zipper repair done

New zipper put into old (and classic) flute holder.   

Repair to flute case cover

This is a new one. My client plays flute in a Seattle Orchestra and he carries his hard flute case in this custom bag he has has forever.  The zipper busted so I am carefully taking it out and putting a new one in.  I feel like I am protecting art!

custom outlander costume

My client wants an Outlander costume for an event but was worried anything she buys will not accommodate her shape.  Fear not!  We found a commercial pattern and she found fabric she likes on line.  This will be great for the event and after the event we can shorten it, lose the shawl and hat and she has a fun summer dress that will look great.

custom bags done

First two of 96" x 66" canvas bags.  Sort of tough to sew. Thank goodness I have an industrial machine and arm strength.

Bike jersey zippers repaired

Even though for Stanford (I am a Husky) and Oakland (I am a Mariner) ... zippers fixed!

Working on custom costume

This outfit is getting closer to being done. The fabric ordered did not have the stretch we expected but we have figured out a way to make it work.

bike zipper repair

Most bike jerseys have 24" coil, one way separating zippers. And guess what you can't ususally buy in the store ... what a racket.  This client will have there replaced and installed by the time he flies out on Thursday.

Reorder of custom bags

Made these custom bags for a client who used them to carry product then, opens bag and uses it to cover sales table them folds up and carries left overs home.  They worked for over 5 year them somebody stole them so I am making another set. Same thing but a little wider.'
